My husband and I just had our ceremony and reception at The Salt Box Barn. And honestly I’m at a loss for words. The venue owners Brock and Katie are the absolute most amazing people I have met. The whole process from Start to finish was so easy. Multiple tours, clear communication, with Covid the guild lines were laid out and so simple, they made sure all precautions and measures were taken. On the wedding day they were there from start to finishing helping set up the bar, setting up tables, assisting with anything that was needed and they brought in an amazing bartender! They also have space for catering food trucks! We hired Pompii Pizza, who were able to park on the grounds set up and cook on the spot! Amazing! My husband and I couldn’t have found a better spot to share our love and celebrate. The venue is so beautiful and well kept, they’re constantly working and updating the barn and grounds, its BEAUTIFUL. They truly take pride in ownership. They have a handful of decor pieces to share and use for your wedding day, signage, vases, drink coolers, furniture. It all came in handy and was one less thing to worry about having to buy. They have it all. Hire them, use their venue. Our wedding guests loved it! It’s so beautiful and romantic, and they’re truly amazing people to work with.

Not only is the property beautiful from the barn to the beautiful surroundings, it is easy to locate being only a couple minutes off of I5, ample parking, easy access for caters and vendors, on-site bathroom facilities, places for BOTH parties to get ready in, speaker + microphone onsite, tables, beautiful natural wood chairs, awesome airstream fun for photos, fire pit, bar setup and so much more! Yes, these are things that can be found on their website, but as a coordinator- this is a dream. No waiting for guests who may have gotten lost. No need to hire shuttles to make sure everyone gets there. No going to the bathroom in a port-a-potty with your nice wedding/event attire. ALL of your bridal party can get ready, yes- that means the groom is not shoved into a closet or corner! Music and microphone setup if you don’t have a DJ or need options for your music. No need to rent tables and chairs when the ones on-site are PRETTY! An airstream which is a totally rad backdrop for photos, as well gives guests something to do and make your day memorable- seriously though, it’s amazing! I’m so impressed with this venue and wish I knew about it sooner. An extra extra bonus is the owners are incredibly nice, helpful and accommodating. Definitely worth your time checking out when searching for a venue

My little sister had her wedding here and it was just GORGEOUS! The room for the bridesmaids and bride to get ready was big and FULL of natural light. There were so many little details all over the property that just really stood out: flowers, art and antiques, lighting and banners and a huge fire pit. Everything was clean and tidy and we honestly didn’t even think about the cleanliness of the place, and I think that is exactly how you want it to be.

As a local wedding planner and coordinator, The Saltbox Barn is one of my FAVORITE venues to work with - and for so many reasons! The venue itself is unlike anything you'll find in the area. The views, no matter which way you turn, are absolutely gorgeous (just wait until you see the sunsets!). The facilities - from the groom's room to the reception space to the backyard - have all maintained their natural elegance and rustic, historical character. You could leave the barn completely as-is and it would be plenty "decorated." The few additions they have made over the years have only enhanced the space and made it even more functional, inviting, and perfect for a wedding celebration. If that's not enough, the owners, Katie & Brock, are some of the hardest working, most passionate venue owners I have ever done a wedding with. They do everything they can to ensure your day is how you envisioned it because they understand the importance of putting the couple first. They are on-site during the whole day, ready to help if needed. They are meticulous in their care for the grounds, ensuring everything is in pristine order prior to your arrival. Through all of this, they often become dear friends with those who book with them - and that's pretty special. All in all, I highly recommend scheduling a tour with The Saltbox Barn so you can envision what the most perfect version of your wedding day could look like!

The venue was absolutely beautiful and fit our theme perfectly. So many guests complimented on the venue as well. When we toured the venue we knew right away that we were going to make a great decision to get married here. It was exactly what we envisioned for our wedding if not better.
The Venue is absolutely stunning and so unique. It is perfect if you are looking for a indoor/outdoor wedding. There is such much space outside to play yard games which is something we really wanted. It was also very accommodating for kids which was great.
Katie and Brock (The Owners) were honestly so Amazing and went above and beyond to ensure we were always happy. They were always very prompt in responding to all our emails and very accommodating with any of our request. They were also so helpful the day of the wedding. They went above and beyond to help set up and make sure everything was running smoothly. We are so grateful for them and how helpful they were with the whole process.
We could not be happier with this venue and the owners and if you are looking for a truly beautiful and amazing wedding venue then we would highly recommend The Saltbox Barn.

My husband and I got married June 23, 2019 at the Saltbox Barn for both our ceremony and reception. From our first emails to Brock & Katie (owners), we knew we were going to LOVE the venue. They were always very prompt in responding, caring and willing to accommodate any requests we had! They let us make appointments to come view the venue multiple times before the wedding, invited us to all open houses and even let us borrow some decorations! The wedding day went SO smoothly and Katie & Brock went above and beyond helping us set things up, giving pointers, and even helping with timing during the ceremony. We absolutely loved the saltbox barn & the owners and would recommend 10000% to have your wedding here. SO happy we found this venue.

If you are truly looking for a rustic barn look with a beautiful meadow (farm land) this is your place. I knew I wanted a barn wedding but every place I looked at it was modernized with fancy stuff. Not quite what I was looking for. I live quite far from the venue but it happen to be where most of my family lives and an area I grew up spending my summers at my grandparents. Brock and Katie have turned this iron works barn into a beautiful shabby chic rustic barn. They are a great pleasure to work with.

The venue owners are a fantastic couple who are so welcoming and were super attentive to helping create a unique wedding and a happy day of celebration! I photographed a wedding here and it was wonderful. It's a gorgeous, spacious location, and is very unique and fun. Everything was set up perfectly, with a nice spacious bridal suite that makes for breathtaking getting-ready photos, as well as a separate groom's suite. The ceremony was out by the trees which was the perfect romantic scene. There really are a lot of different spots you could have the ceremony though, it is a large space and is beautiful inside and out. I can't say enough about what a pleasure it was to have such beautiful scenery in all the photos. I only wish this had been an option when I got married, it definitely would have been my choice!

The Saltbox Barn is lovely! A beautiful place to get married or to host a reception or an event. It's so easy to get to, right off I-5, but far enough that you won't hear much road noise. The barn itself is rustic, but well-kept with some artistic odds and ends that make it truly unique. The property is gorgeous, big and open and overlooking farm fields. There are trees, a garden and many other lovely photo opportunities. I've been to two events here, both were beautiful!

Beautiful wedding venue! A nice open space and incredible views of the Cascade Mountains and Fir Island farm lands. Rustic, gorgeous and a hint of industrial. What sets it apart from other barn venues in the area is the artistic touches through-out the property left behind from the artist who lived there before and used the barn as his art studio. The business owners Brock and Katie Clements clearly pay attention to detail and have created a beautiful space to compliment the natural beauty that surrounds it. I've been to a wedding and a family reunion here and I felt it was a perfect setting for both. Everything you could ever want in a venue, you'll find it here!

A wonderful venue for small or large events. the sunsets are so gorgeous, the setting is so perfect. you are close to I-5 but you will never know it, the setting is so bucolic and peaceful. we have been to two events here and fall in love with it over and over. cannot recommend it highly enough.
